Ex-Busted members to appeal against royalties decision

Two original members of boy band Busted are appealing after the High Court threw out their claims for unpaid royalties.

As previously reported Ki Fitzgerald and Owen Doyle, who were sacked from Busted in 2001, were asking for millions of pounds in unpaid royalties after claiming they co-wrote some of the band's hits.

They said they were forced to sign away their rights before they left the band, but their case was dismissed and the pair received no money.

However it has now been revealed that the duo are to be credited as original co-owners of the tracks in question - including the 2002 single 'What I Go To School For'

A statement released on behalf of the two ex-Busted members said that this fact had been unreported til now.

Fitzgerald and Doyle said they will continue to "fight for justice".
